DELIVERY METHOD

We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible but we cannot guarantee a delivery date. Our transport company will call you usually an hour before your delivery is due to arrive.

We recommend that you do not schedule any Tradesman until you have received the product and are fully satisfied with it. We will not be held responsible for any costs incurred due to your order arriving later than expected.

Products should be removed from the packaging within a few days of receiving them and laid out without anything resting on the surfaces. This will reduce the occurrence of a problem called ‘Pinto’ which is the result of moisture becoming trapped under the polystyrene packaging leaving darker stripes on the surface of the products. This issue is treatable by a few methods shown in this link:  http://www.bridgeman.co.nz/pinto.html , and will also fade over time. But it is best to avoid this problem altogether by unpacking the products as quickly as possible from the pallet.

It is important somebody is present to sign for the goods, after thoroughly checking them (see acceptance of goods/returns below).   Please ensure this is done as when you sign for the goods you are confirming that they have arrived to you undamaged and correct to your original order (i.e. size, colour, quantity, etc.).

Palletised delivery is made by national carrier (up to 40ft articulated lorry) and can only be guaranteed to curb side or bottom of driveway.  Please ensure you have reasonable access to receive goods at all times.

Please make sure you have adequate help when unloading concrete products from the pallet after delivery.  Many of our products are very heavy, even the smaller items can weigh more than you expect.  If you attempt to lift these items alone, you may cause yourself a serious injury and also the items can be easily damaged if dropped or dragged.  Concrete is hard and heavy, but can also be quite brittle when knocked.  You would not be eligible for a refund or replacement if damage occurs after signed-for delivery.

All Concrete Products should be placed onto polystyrene sticks (supplied) after removing from pallet as damage to the product can occur if just placed onto hard surface.

Orders may be collected yourself from our factory on request.  If you wish to do so please let us know in advance to arrange.

ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS/RETURNS

Goods purchased must be checked immediately upon arrival and any discrepancies recorded at the time of delivery on the carrier’s delivery note.  Your delivery driver should complete and sign this if there is an issue.

When you sign for the goods you are confirming that they have arrived to you undamaged and correct to your original order (i.e. size, colour, quantity, etc.).

We are unable to offer any refunds or replacements after you have signed for the goods, so please be sure to thoroughly check the goods before you sign.

We cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs after the products have been signed for.

You may refuse to sign for the Goods if they are damaged and the haulage company will return them to us.  Furthermore, we must be notified in writing of any issues within 24 hours following delivery (sales@classicalcreations.co.uk).

We cannot be held responsible for any damage after goods have been removed from the pallet, so if you notice any damage please take a photo while the product is still on the original pallet and email it to us. This must be done within 24 hours of you receiving the goods.

Should the goods be damaged during transit, please provide photographic evidence and we will supply replacements as long as you have made a note of this on the haulage companies delivery note.

PLEASE NOTE: The original damaged items MAY NOT be collected.

Our liability is limited to the cost of the goods and save as precluded by law, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, (damage or expense including loss of profits, business or goodwill) however so arising.  This policy does not affect your legal rights.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the colour, size and quantity ordered is suitable for their requirements as refunds cannot be made once goods are fully dispatched and signed for.

Please note there may be a slight colour variation from those shown on the website due to differences in lighting, drying conditions and manufacturing.

We recommend that when purchasing products, especially in larger quantities, that they are all ordered and manufactured in one batch to reduce the chances of getting any slight colour variation.

Classical Creations takes very seriously the issue of Customer Service.  If you have any issues with your order please contact us immediately and we will be happy to help.

CARE AND INSTALLATION

Our products are very low maintenance and arrive with you ready to fit and naturally weatherproof.

Use of any Waterproofer, Sealers or other coatings may void your warranty and are applied entirely at your own risk.

De-Icer and Rock Salt MUST NOT be applied to the copings as this can damage the surface and cause spalling. Read more about this here:  http://accoladespw.com/rock-salt-damage

Routine cleaning and maintenance is required to keep the overall appearance of products in pristine condition.

All products should be installed in accordance with the latest British Standard.

Please make sure you have adequate help when moving concrete products from the pallet after delivery. Please take care when installing.  Refunds cannot be made once goods are fully dispatched and signed for.

All Concrete Products should be placed onto polystyrene sticks (supplied) after removing from pallet as damage to the product can occur if just placed onto hard surface.

Please note this is a decorative product and thus has not been designed to have the same strength as load bearing concrete but rather a more aesthetically pleasing surface finish. These products can be easily chipped or damaged if not handled carefully by yourself or your builder. Please handle them with care.

Please ensure all products are adequately fixed down once installed.  It is a good idea to regularly check your mortar from time to time, ensuring it has not deteriorated and remains fit for purpose.
